Artzible Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
What Artzible stores, and where
The photos, voice notes, videos, titles, stories, tags, artist names, reactions and settings you add are saved only in Artzible's private storage on your device. They are protected by iOS Data Protection, which keeps them encrypted while your iPhone is locked. We (the developer) never receive a copy. There are no Artzible servers.
When you import or capture a photo, Artzible re-saves it without its hidden metadata (such as GPS location and camera details).
Permissions, and what each one is used for
| Permission | Used for | Leaves your device? |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Capturing artwork and recording video reactions | No |
| Microphone | Recording voice notes and video reactions | No |
| Photos (selected items) | Importing photos you pick. Artzible only sees the photos you select. | No |
| Add to Photos | Saving an artwork photo when you choose "Save Image" while sharing | No |
| Location (only while using the app, optional) | Tagging the place an artwork was made, only when you tap "Tag current location" | See below |
| Face ID / passcode (optional) | Locking the app. Handled entirely by iOS; Artzible never sees biometric data. | No |
Location: when you choose to tag a place, your iPhone asks Apple's location service to turn the coordinates into a place name. That request is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Artzible stores the place name and approximate coordinates (rounded to about 100 m) only on your device.
Backups and sharing are always your choice
If you use Back up now, Artzible writes a copy of your gallery to a folder you pick in the Files app, for example iCloud Drive or Google Drive. That copy is then held by the storage provider you chose, under their privacy terms. Artzible does not encrypt backups itself; for end-to-end encryption in iCloud Drive, turn on Advanced Data Protection.
When you share or print an artwork, it goes only to the app, person or printer you pick in the iOS share sheet or print dialog.
Children's privacy
Artzible is designed for parents and caregivers to preserve their children's artwork. It does not collect any information from or about children: everything stays on the parent's device. Artzible has no chat, no social features, no advertising and no third-party analytics.
Deleting your data
You can delete any artwork, recording or artist in the app, or erase everything at once in Settings → Erase all data on this iPhone. Deleting the app also removes all of its data from your device. Backups you saved elsewhere are not affected and can be deleted in the Files app.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If Artzible ever starts collecting data, we will ask for your consent first and update the App Store privacy details.
